Eurotilt / Eurosteel develops it's own tiltrotator
We have been producing high-quality attachments for excavators and wheel loaders for almost 40 years. We do this from our location in Venlo, where engineering, production and sales work together under one roof.
After we parted ways with our Swedish partner in tiltrotators, we started setting up our own line of tiltrotators. The condition was to market a high-quality product with added value by Eurosteel and with added value for the user.
After an intensive development period, we have now started producing the first 2 models from our new line of tiltrotator units.
The body (CW or S) of this new series is produced in-house, and the top part (both as a quick coupler or fixed) is also made under our own flag. The advantage of this is that we can build the most compact and lightest possible tiltrotator unit that is oriented to the Benelux market; think mainly of height and weight reduction, but also a machine suspension with the correct tipping angles. The tiltrotator part comes from the German machine builder Kinshofer.
Tilting is not done with cylinders, but with an elliptical tilt motor. The maximum tilt angle is 2 x 50 degrees, whereby the tilting moment remains constant and does not vary, as with cylinders, depending on the tilt angle. The elliptical shape of the tilt motor creates a larger surface area, making it more powerful than a round one and also reduces the construction height. By using a hydraulic valve, the holding force is even greater.
Various options are available, such as a gripper, but a GPS rotation sensor suitable for the most common GPS systems is also possible.
Various operating systems are available; both the 4 or 6 hose system, but also a pro plus system, applicable to the MIC4 machine system, is possible.
The tiltrotators are available for machines from 2 to 25 tons.
We can currently supply the ET11 and ET19 completely from our own production, but the other models are of course also available.
